Obtaining a TCU Library Borrower’s Card

Affiliation Requirements
TCU faculty, staffs, and students (free of charge) Use University ID card as a Borrower’s card.
Faculty, staffs and students of Tzu Chi Affiliates (free of charge) First time borrowers should bring their University ID, and fill out the application form in their home library for borrowing privileges on TCU campuses.
Spouses / parents of TCU or Tzu Chi Affiliates’ current faculty / staff (free of charge) Spouses / parents of TCU or Tzu Chi Affiliates’ current faculty / staff may obtain a Borrower’s card by presenting proof of their status and two 1 inch photos upon application.
Alumni (free of charge) TCU Alumni may apply for a Borrower’s card by bringing their ID card, copy of degree certificate and two 1 inch photos.
Other Patrons

Applicants must be aged 20 or older, or those younger than 20 must be current college students.
Bring regular ID cards or student ID cards, and two 1 inch photos.
A fee of NT$500 for a 2-year Borrower’s Card.

There is a NT$50 fee for replacing lost cards.

Application of Library temporary pass

Affiliation Requirements
TCU and Tzu Chi Affiliates’ faculty, staffs, students and their spouses / parents Excess by using their University ID cards or TCU Borrower’s cards.
Other patrons & special circumstances Applicants must be aged 20 or older, or those younger than 20 must be current college students.
Bring their ID cards for obtaining Library temporary passes.
Notes:
1.Elementary or high school students who are younger than aged 20 are not allowed to enter Library, even if they are with their parents.
2.TCU students not presenting the student ID card or not wearing the school uniform are required to provide their student ID number and name to enter the Library after being verified by the Library.
