Q:Why do readers not receive e-mail notifications?

A:The e-mail address provided is either incorrect or invalid.

Q:Why there is no response when the reader tries to register or apply for an account?

A:1.The reader's e-mail provided is either incorrect or invalid, or not on the mailing list of the respective Department/Unit.

     2.Perhaps the reader's Department/Unit is not a registered user.

Q:What is Ariel?

AAriel provides a service whereby required documents are scanned and sent electronically to our Library, and the reader receives a printed copy instead. Some fees may be applied as required by the provider Library.

Q:How to edit reader's personal data?

A:Please log on and select "Reader's Info," you can edit your student ID number, password, Department, contact number, address and other personal information. You will be allowed to use the library system again after authentication

Q:What should I do if I forget my password?

A:Please contact our staff (Extension 1424) for assistance or enter the front webpage, select “Forgot Password,”key-in your Email address, and the system will automatically send the original password via e-mail.

Q:How may I check the status of a document’s application?

A:The document status can be checked in the reader's section.

Q:What should I do if I accidentally provide incorrect data in the interlibrary application form?

A:You can contact our staff (Extension 1424) if the incorrect application data has not been sent yet.  

Q:Description for the status of interlibrary documents application?

A:01.Submit later: The application form has not been sent to the library you applied to.

       02.Sent, not processed: The application form has been sent to the library you applied to, but has not been processed.

       03.To be collected: The application has been processed by the library you applied to; the document(s) await(s) delivery.

       04.To be collected: The originating library has received the document(s), and the reader can collect the document(s) from the library.

       05.Rejected: Incomplete or invalid application data or information.

       06.Rejected, the reader has been informed: Incomplete or invalid application data or information.

       07.Application Cancelled: Incomplete or invalid application data or information.

       08.Processing: The application is being processed.

       09.Unable to process: Incomplete or invalid application data or information.

       10.Process has been completed: Application has been completed and document(s) delivered, but the originating library has yet to receive any.
